In my previous posts, I discussed the Soul and its mission. Now I will focus on the Spirit, and the support it gives the Soul to ensure that it succeeds on its mission.
The Spirit is the presence of the Creator/God in our lives. It runs through each of us like a strand of divine DNA. It permeates every cell of our body, each one, a testament to Divine Intelligence. By it, are we able to know God intimately through our own being. We need only quiet our minds to sense its presence. No book, no philosophy, no religion can reveal more about the Creator than stillness itself.

Without the Spirit, it would be difficult to imagine the Creator. The Spirit gives us insight into the Creator because it is an extension of the Creator. It is its breath you might say. When God breathed, the Universe unfolded, and the Spirit was made manifest. We are part of that manifestation and are invested with a seed of God’s own consciousness. The Spirit serves to help us cultivate that seed. Over the course of many incarnations, our Soul will grow in the consciousness of the Creator, and the Spirit will be there to support it every step of the way.

To grasp the significance of the consciousness that has been invested in us, it is helpful to imagine ourselves in context of the Trinity (Father, Son and Holy Ghost). We are the Son in this relationship. Whether we count ourselves Christian or not, it is an appropriate image for describing our relationship with the Creator and the Spirit. We are three but one in Consciousness. By means of raising our consciousness, we are able to merge our minds with the Creator.
