For the record, I am not advocating quitting a relationship or a job when the choices get tough. Rather, I am saying that we should follow our conscience no matter how awkward it makes our situation seem. What would such choices lead to? We might be surprised. Our relationship or job might actually take a turn for the better, or it might not, but rest assured, it most certainly will change. Something has to give when a lower frequency and higher frequency come together. One will win out and the other will move on. Even if it is us that have to do the moving, we will be better off for it in the long run. The Universe will make sure of it. Indeed, opportunities will present themselves that never would have shown up had we not been willing to live so bold.
When we begin to place our faith in the Spirit, it can feel scary at first, especially in situations where it seems like so much is at stake. We are relinquishing control of a situation with no guarantee of the results. This is a legitimate fear from the standpoint of the ego since it has no concept of a spiritual us. Its programming is too basic to pick up on our deeper selves. For it, giving up control is the worst thing we could possibly do.
It may take a little time to get comfortable with the notion of relinquishing control, but eventually, the benefits become obvious to us. As we see more and more evidence that the Spirit has our back, it becomes easier to let go and leave the details to the Universe. We are not flying solo anymore, and we know it. This realization changes our perception of “closing doors." Instead of viewing them as a reason for disappointment,” we recognize them as an indicator of bigger and better things to come. The only thing that can sabotage our success is an attachment to what it looks like. Let go of preconceived notions and the sky is the limit.
