Most of us carry a mixed bag of intentions. We have intentions driven by the ego and those driven by the Soul. The mind that entertains both is splintered. It is not a mind that can create miracles. Its focus is divided; its aims in opposition. Conflicting intentions create disharmony. Eventually, the stronger intention will win out over the other, but the mind will suffer a lot while waiting to see who the victor will be.
Suffice to say that the vast majority of humankind suffers from a splintered mind. Even those of us trying to raise the frequency of our energy suffer setbacks if we are not fully onboard with the intentions of the Soul. We drain ourselves of precious energy every time we seek to complete ourselves through external means. We cannot create miracles when we lower our frequency to accommodate the intentions of the ego. It is like a slow drain on a car battery when the radio is left on overnight. In the morning, there will not be enough juice to start the car.
If we want to overcome the condition of a splintered mind, we need to unite our intentions. The question then becomes whether we want to unite them under the ego or the Soul? Not a tough choice when we consider their end game. Under the Soul, we have the Spirit at our disposal. It orchestrates our efforts with the Universe. It sees around corners. It provides us with wisdom. It transforms our mind into a miracle making machine. The ego has only itself, and nothing but itself, to drive its creations, and those creations are void of love.
Recognizing the advantages of uniting our intentions under the Soul makes it easier to abandon the intentions of the ego. It is the first step to achieving a Miracle Mind. The second step is to make a clear intention for the Soul – “I choose the intentions of my Soul.” In this case, saying it makes it so. Divine Intelligence begins working immediately on its fulfillment. Our job is just to maintain focus on our intention by reminding ourselves of it often. Love always finds a way. And when we choose for the Soul, we make a choice for love.
All intentions are born from a desire for completeness. They are driven by either the ego or the Soul. The ego believes completeness is achieved through adding things to itself; the Soul believes it is achieved through the sharing of love. The ego’s beliefs are shaped by its sense of lack; the Soul’s beliefs are shaped by its sense of abundance. The ego’s intentions serve itself; the Soul’s intentions serve everyone. If the two were assigned an avatar on a video game, the ego might well be represented by Dastardly Dan and the Soul by Supergirl.
Since the ego creates for itself, it must create by itself. It does not collaborate with the Universe. Its creations are dependent on whatever the mind can produce. The mind is only as great as its conditioning and intellect. Its path is paved with biases and best guesses. Even when a mind is endowed with great intellect, the best it can hope to create is a testament to its intellect. Its creations are void of beauty and love because these are not concepts that the mechanical mind possesses. Thus, a person might create a financial empire, but it will feel like a hollow achievement without love invested in it. Love is the basis for the feeling of completeness.
The Soul, in contrast, is never alone in its creations. It is always supported by the Spirit. The Spirit that supports your Soul is the same Spirit that supports the whole Universe. In fact, the Spirit is the thread that connects everything in the Universe. Everything is tied to it. Pull at it, and you tug at the Universe itself. When the Soul creates, it succeeds in its attempt at completeness because it merges with the Universe to do so, much in the way a man and a woman merge together to create a child. It is an act of sharing, and the joy of the creation is shared as well. Only in sharing love can completeness be achieved.
Intentions are the blueprints for our creations. They create our reality – not just sometimes, but all the time. The reality we are experiencing in this very moment is simply a consequence of our previous intentions. When we become aware that all our intentions are creating, then we gain the power to direct our own reality. We begin to create consciously. We also experience a shift in our perceptions: We no longer view situations as something from which we cannot escape, but as a point from which to create. Anything could happen going forward. It is all up to us!
When we release an intent, we are actually releasing energy. The energy itself is the creation; it just has not made it into physical form yet. It will eventually crystalize and be perceptible on the level of the senses. For example, if I release the intention to create a successful business, its creation begins the minute I have the thought. It is headed toward me just like an item I might order online. I can count on the Universe to deliver it as long as I stay focused on it and do not do anything to sabotage it.
One could say that our imagination is the catalogue from which we choose our creations, since it, and only it, determines what we can create. Consider at some point, we were a soul without a physical form. We were simply unmanifested energy. To be enjoying the body that we currently occupy, we had to will ourselves into physical form. We literally manifested our own physical being with just an intent. (And here we were giving our parents all the credit.) This is the power of our intent; it shapes light into form. If we are capable of manifesting our own being into existence, imagine what else we are capable of creating?
When we are burdened with negative thoughts, even our best intentions get corrupted in the mix. This happens because our thoughts are pure energy and combine together like ingredients in a recipe. Some originate in fear and some in love. When they mix, they produce a sort of energy soup that pervades all of our creations. The dominate energy will be the flavor of them.
Perhaps a simpler way to think of this energy is in regards to our attitude. Our attitude corresponds to our energy. If we have a negative attitude, our creations and situations will follow suit. Sometimes, it may be hard to determine if a negative attitude caused a bad situation, or a bad situation caused a negative attitude. But in reality, nothing is random. What we are experiencing, we created at some point. Everything that transpires in our lives is karmic.
Whatever the quality of our energy, we need not get distressed over it. We can overwhelm our dark energy with an abundance of light just as well as the other way around. The goal, therefore, is to infuse our mind with the good stuff. This is no small challenge when we consider the years of bad stuff that has been programmed into our minds.
The Miracle Mind is a mind that creates consciously. But we do not have to access the Miracle Mind to create. In every regards, we are already creators, whether we do so consciously or not. Every thought we think results in some form of creation. Even our nocturnal dreams are a result of our thoughts. We cannot help but be creators because we are an extension of the Creator. It is just the way we roll. But despite the fact that we are constantly creating, few people recognize themselves as creators. As a matter of fact, most folks do not consider themselves to be very creative at all.
The fuel for our creations comes from our intentions, or our wants. Nothing is ever created without them. If we pay close attention to our thoughts, we will notice that we are always intent on something, more often than not, a whole lot of somethings. We want prosperity, we want good health, we want fulfillment, we want a satisfying relationship, and we want to eat our favorite foods without gaining weight. And that is our short list! In theory, making miracles should be child’s play for us considering our innate ability for creating and our endless desire to do so. But that does not seem to be the case. If we look at the state of the world, it would appear that we are more adept at making misery than making miracles. So what gives?
As most people are unaware that their thoughts are creating, most are not mindful of what they are thinking. Their thoughts run wild, like a pack of stray dogs. Most of what drives them is a sense of insecurity due to an ego dominated mind. Thoughts that are sad, angry, judgmental, competitive, guilty, greedy, and of course, fearful are all ego-driven and will result in negative creations. People could actually foretell their future to some degree based on what they are thinking today. The reason most of us do not correlate our thoughts to our situation is because we do not recognize our own hand in it, especially when the situation is bad. Bad situations seem to originate outside of ourselves, a consequence of someone else or something else. But no matter who or what lands on our path, we created the conditions for them to be there. If you ever want to get an idea of where your own life is heading, simply monitor your thoughts. Can you maintain even fifteen minutes without negative thoughts creeping in?
